Insurance & Billing
IMC participates in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. We also accept a number of commercial plans, HMO's, PPO's and managed care plans. Present your insurance identification cards upon admission along with information on any hospitalization insurance you may have. Many insurance companies now require that the patient call for pre-certification prior to hospital admission. Please do so, if necessary. The hospital may request a deposit to cover the deductible, co-payment or fees for non-insured services.

Many diagnostic procedures performed at the hospital consist of two distinct parts - technical (use of hospital facilities and personnel) and professional (fees for physician services). There will be a separate bill for each of these portions. For the professional portion of a procedure, your physician, anesthesiologist, and radiologist will bill you directly. The hospital is not involved in their billing process.
